The long workshop reached its peak today, and tomorrow is the final day. With so few Japanese participants, there were many challenging moments—forced seating at meals, repeated discussion sessions—and a whirlwind of emotions: regret for things I could have done better, wishing I’d asked questions more assertively, yet also pride for being more proactive than at my last international conference. In any case, I’m determined to enjoy the workshop to the fullest until the very end! (Akira Yamazaki, A03-8)
