1st seminar hosted by the Working Group for Weather and Climate Extremes was held online. Tomoya Shimura (A02-5) gave a presentation entitled “Footprint of the air-sea momentum transfer saturation observed by ocean wave buoy network in extreme tropical cyclones” to more than 30 participants.
The WG for Weather and Climate Extremes, the WG for Ocean Extremes, and ECHOES all accept participation from outside Habitable Japan.
