31st Umi no Science Café (Sep. 16)

The 31st Umi no Science Café (Umi = ocean) was held at the Tokyo office of Hokkaido University. Moderated by Yumiko Obayashi (A02-5), Hatsumi Nishikawa (A01-2) gave a talk entitled “Water mass in the ocean interior impacts typhoon intensity !?” Eight participants and the staff sat around the table and asked many questions to the talk including the introduction of observation activities in a relaxed atmosphere.
