Data Assimilation Summer School (Aug. 20～23)

The 28th annual “Data Assimilation Summer School” was held at the Plaza Hotel Mutsu in Aomori Prefecture, and many members from Habitable Japan participated. Norihisa Usui (A03-7) served as the lead convener, and Shun Oishi (A03-7) and Nariaki Hirose (A03-7) delivered lectures for participants. In the group exercise part, where participants were divided into groups, Takeshi Enomoto (A02-6) created the assignments, and several members from Habitable Japan acted as tutors for each group.
