2025 Summer Observation Campaign off Sanriku #8

At Otsuchi, we started radiosonde observations using a three-watch system yesterday, and are preparing for the continuous observations. For dinner last night, Professor Yoshida of Kyoto University, who is the general director of the Otsuchi Unit, served us spicy curry. There are two types, mild and medium spicy, and we blended them together and it was very delicious. Currently, the sun rises early, and Otsuchi is located in the eastern part of Honshu, so I was very surprised to see that it was already light outside at 03:30! (Satomu Takahashi, ECHOES)
PS After the cold front passed, we saw a beautiful rainbow!
